:/ Geh... Been in an artblock and haven't been too happy with my work. Especially this one. I can't draw at all lately. I'm trying at least... That's what counts.
By the way, this is my character "Shiro." I need to come up with a last name for him. He's suppose to be a really fashionable guy and I was trying to give him the typical "emo" do with a twist. Ehg... D: Sorry Shiro. If you're going to critique-Please critique me ESPECIALLY on proportions of the body and coloring. Hell please do so on the background too! Any advice or tips is great! I just wanted to mention that the proportions of the body can be straightened out when you draw the clothing folds convincingly, measure the arm proportions too. His face is fine, it looks really expressive and the hair is awesome XD Also, here's a ref for wings, closest I can find to your pic, [link] The colouring looks fine to me. The saturated tones really help in making some colours stand out. :> -- -MODUS OPERANDI-Oh shit they are here and they're actually serious about it. Critiques
Figure looks really good. You keep improving on proportions and depth in your drawings every time I see them. His face and hair look very believable. The jacket may be a bit flat, but it looks good none-the-less. Line quality keeps getting better and better, but the line of the chin is a tad dark. I would suggest making the line at it's darkest at the point of the chin instead of on the sides. Usually darker parts are what you want the viewer to look at, so the sides of the face make it a little distracting.
Keep up the good work, you're improving at a ridiculous speed, really. <3
